We have implemented our self-service kiosks to automate payment for services in the “Anturium” medical clinic. The medical clinic with high-tech equipment is one of the largest in the Altai Territory, provides wide range of services in many medical areas and performs almost any laboratory tests. The clinic additionally includes building for the center of cosmetology and aesthetic medicine.

Self-service kiosk functionality

As part of the project, customer uses kiosks to provide clients with the opportunity to independently pay for medical services rendered without the participation of the reception. After passing through the specialists, visitor is given a bill that contains barcode. The client holds barcode to the scanner at the kiosk, checks the cart of services and pays for it with a bank card.

At the request of Anthurium clinic, Smartix specialists integrated own kiosk software with 1C BIT. UMC (Medical Center Management) from the First Bit company. Data exchange between the Smartix system and 1C BIT information system was implemented on the Anthurium side.

Other features

Electronic queue

In addition to self-service kiosks, we offer the Smartix electronic queue system of our own development. The solution can be used to effectively relieve the reception desk when requesting routine services that take up a lot of time and attention from administrators, for example, when making an appointment for a visit to a treatment room. A kiosk installed near such a room will allow to independently select, pay for service and receive an electronic queue ticket.

The Smartix electronic queue can also be integrated with the personal account of a self-service medical kiosk. As a result, after selecting and paying for services, the visitor is given a ticket and all customer flows are organized — sequences are formed to medical specialists, to test rooms, to the doctor on duty, to the cash desk for cash payment, etc.

And if kiosks are not enough, we are ready to offer a solution for self-registration via the client’s smartphone. The functionality may include payment acceptance + queuing or simple queuing with a virtual ticket. All that is required to launch the solution is our web application and placing QR codes with a link to it on banners in the clinic. The client scans QR code with their smartphone, follows the link in the browser to the web application, selects a medical service, pays for it via the Fast payment system and receives virtual ticket. Telegram bot can be used to track the position in the queue.
