Smartix self-service checkouts and kiosks use Obed.ru service
Obed.ru corporate catering service is now supported for payment at Smartix self-checkouts and self-service kiosks. Earlier, we reported about integration with the Lunch Card service from Yandex Eda, which has similar functionality.
Currently over 1500 catering establishments in Russia accept Obed.ru points as payment. With the implementation of Smartix self-checkouts and kiosks visitors will be able to use this popular corporate meal compensation system to make payments.
System features
Obed.ru uses plastic cards with refillable balance. Interface of Smartix self-checkout software offers button for payment via Obed.ru. The employee bring the card to the self-service device scanner, payment is made and remaining balance is displayed.
Employer determines the amount of the subsidy received on the Obed.ru card, time limits for its use, available locations and other requirements.
Result
According to statistics, corporate catering systems are in demand by 80-95% of employees. People gladly choose this format to replenish expenses for breakfasts, lunches or dinners during working hours. The employer is required to create an account in the Obed.ru system, distribute cards among employees and connect automatic balance replenishment.
